As I sat by my window contemplating what resolutions I would make for New Year's this year, I realized that the changes that I needed to make were not superficial. I do have extra weight to lose, but that extra weight is a reflection of a spiritual reality about myself. I am attached to what is comfortable and easy, not pushing myself to love better or to give more generously. So, I decided that for this year, my New Year's Resolutions would focus more on the things that really matter, for these are the things that will lead me to eternal life. I share them with you so that you, too, may join with me in changing what really matters in your life.
