Shibori boho style - indigo dyed Fabric bydesigned_by_debby

Shibori is a form of tie dying using indigo dye and different folding techniques. For this design, I combined two patterns on the same fabric using rubber bands and hand stitching. This takes me back to the early more bohemian 70s era. It was casual, groovy and all about more natural fabrics like denim and tie dye cotton. . Created to fit the yard size of the cotton, this will also print nicely on the other sized fabrics...like sweet pea gauze or linen cotton canvas. The design is turned sideways (the bottom of the bolt is at the left) so multiple yards of a border design may be purchased uncut. . Use for stylish floor cushions, tunics, kimonos, skirts, cafe curtains, totes, etc. Don't forget to add some macrame! Thank you for viewing!
