the lens of nostalgia, all the camper trips were fun
In real life the air was hot and sticky. Worse yet, the mosquitoes thought your bare skin looked like a treat. Memories of childhood summer trips with a family trailer (or caravan for you UK/Australian folks) did not seem like any fun at the time. Fast forward a half century and look back through the lens of nostalgia, and even the long boring car ride becomes nifty fifties and sixties suburban family bliss. In this case the bliss comes yellow and white over a mottled aqua and white splotch background. These trailers are also big--eight inches long for fabric and gift wrap, 12 inches long for wallpaper, making this a design you would want to use in an application where it will be seen from a distance, such as curtains, a bedspread, or apparel with large panels.
