This design was part of a collaboration inspired by photographs of an old textile mill in Greensboro, NC. A friend shared photos of spaces in and around the building and I was drawn to a shot of sheared off pipes on an exterior wall where you could glimpse the sky peeking through. So I designed this for her to use in an art quilt piece that she is making to be exhibited at that space. See this design featured in a quilt by Judi H. Bastion in the Jan/Feb 2019 issue of Quilting Arts magazine.
