Poor King Midas. If he had just left the gardeners to do their work, and not tried to pick the roses himself, he would have had a lovely garden. But no. Midas couldn't keep his hands off. They'd get out all the costume jewelery they'd paid a few dollars for, and let him just kind of look through the whole box.
