Silk painting: baby hands printed on silk with syrup, painted with silk dyes. A family I knew had 7 children -- a girl, then a boy, then a set of quintuplets. The celebrate the quints' 2 birthday of we painted this mural. Each of the children printed their hands and feet on silk with pancake syrup; then they each choose a favorite color of silk dye to paint the around the hand prints. (And then they all took a bath!)
