This is an asymmetrical design rather than a regular chevron pattern. I designed it as a large scale repeat because I thought it would be great for t-shirts or leggings. It started as a 4 inch piece of painted paper with thin strips of masking tape as a resist. I painted over and removed the masking tape to create slightly organic and irregular lines.
