A big, bold Victorian style paisley horizontal stripe full of fussy little details everywhere. Think William Morris studios type busy art, though Morris had no hand in the actual designs and colors. I drew it all freehand about 115 years after he died. What sets this jam packed assortment of hearts and buds and vines and ribbons apart from many of my other designs of hearts and buds and vines and ribbons, is its size. This one is really, really big. To match a seam exactly so it becomes invisible that there are two different elements would require a swatch 8 by 10 and a quarter inches. (Of course you may choose to purchase this in a smaller size, if you wish. I'm pleased as a pig in a mud pool with this design. If I had the money to replace the curtains in this computer room (like that will ever happen--I have this addiction called designing on Spoonflower that prevents such domestic folly) this would be a perfect fabric to replace the ones that I think were made for this house in 1981 (when it was a fully decorated sales model for all the homes in the neighborhood).
