On one yard of fabric, the repeat is 24x17.75 inches with both solid colored, purple toned butterflies as well as sepia and old yellow toned butterflies with historic images from Paris, Australia, Greenland, South America, and Egypt. Approx size of different form butterflies is 2.5 in wide (6.5 cm). The background map is an older one from beginning of 1900s and it has been pixelated to dots, which adds the "old" feeling to the finished pattern. Please note, that due to the larger width repeat (24 inches or 60 cm), the size is exactly same on fabric and wallpaper, which would make an adorable coordinating room decoration from wall paper to curtains to pillows - delish!
