A pillow panel taken from a Victorian etching in the third grade school text book, "New Education Readers, Book Four" which was published in 1901. Artist was Malcolm Fraser. Illustration accompanied the story of "King Solomon and the Bee," which told the tale of the Queen of Sheba coming to to test his wisdom, by offering him real flowers and fake flowers, and asking him to identify which was which. In the story he opens the window to let a bee into the room, so it can advise him on her bouquets. There are four panels to a yard (in basic cotton and fabrics of that width), one on a fat quarter.
