Imagining this as waiting room wallpaper (some people used it for face covers); commemorating the arrival of Jean-Henri Dunant in Solferino in 1859, the day after a battle left 40,000 dead, maimed & untreated: an event that led to the creation of protected, neutral systems of treatment for battlefield war casualties, under that red cross (and crescent).
