When I see these curly branches topped by flowers or red leaves, the curves that run from them and the stars behind them I think of bottle rockets set off for the fourth of July. It is all about streaks and stars, and warmly neutral background colors, set in the format of a vertical stripe. And it is delicate, relatively abstract, and was drawn freehand with fiber tip marker on card stock. Though a computer was obviously used to get it from California, where it was created, to Spoonflower in North Carolina, that computer played relatively little role in the creation of this design. It is a work of old fashioned human hands. (file z74b3c, #876252)
