We were on a trip in Indonesia and visited an elephant rescue preserve. It is a place where they rescue wild elephants and move them to this preserve to be cared for instead of killing them when they get into villages and damage property. This image is a hand-drawn pen and ink rendering of one elephant named "Jovie" we got to meet, bathe, ride through the jungle, and feed sugar cane. Such a sweet and gentle animal.
