Description:

Symmetry group p31m with triad rotations and mirror axes perpendicular to the unit cell sides.

Symmetry group p31m with triad rotations and mirror axes perpendicular to the unit cell sides (also bringing in glide reflections). The unit cell is a special rhombus (which I call a trombus because of its equilateral triangle derivation). Note how the mirror reflections pass through all of the triads in the set of three and how each triad is different in its surroundings.
