The Murphy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1 1/2 cups white sugar 2 c shortening or butter (I do 1 of each) 4 eggs 2 t water 2 t vanilla 3 cups sifted flour 2 t salt 2 t soda 4 cups oatmeal 12 oz choc chips Preheat oven to 375. Blend butter, sugars, vanilla, & water. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients & add to mixture. Mix well. Add oatmeal & choc chips. Baked on sprayed pan for 8-10 mins.
