The 1959 Edsel is considered to be the easiest of the short lived car marque's examples to restore because there was only one basic body line (as opposed to the 1958's, some of which were built at Ford plants, and others at Mercury plants, causing them to not have interchangeable parts) or the 1960 (which had so few built, some parts can not be obtained at all) and because most mechanical 1959 Edsel parts are shared with 1959 Fords. This makes it one of the most commonly owned. But it is also the most commonly overlooked as far as souvenirs, toys, and memorabilia. So this simple line drawing celebrates a front view of the often overlooked 1959 Edsel sedan or hardtop. It came in Ranger and Corsair models, which are different on the sides of the car, but the same from a front view. (frame 6519266)
