Twisted and tumbled tangles of green stems and branches sprout orange flower-like orbs in this alien and abstract garden. Stylistically I see graphic bits of the early1920's and late teens here, though the shades of orange and green that I used are not quite right for that era. 1920's books did often use an orange and green ink which, when combined together, gave them a third tan color in cases when they had enough money to go beyond the single tone of black and white, but not enough money to print in full color.
