This design is a musical impression. Blue notes, golden tones, restless bass and a syncopated rhythm - that's jazz! A fusion of styles with innovative instrumentation playing improvised melodies, experimental harmonies and complex percussion. Jazz has a very eclectic mix of a history and a similarly diverse range in its expression. From ragtime and blues, through swing and dixieland to modal and scat and many other jazzy flavours of different musical genres. In its instrumentation, this design features piano keyboard (with some literal blue notes!), double-bass, drum and generic horn - which is somewhere along its way towards transforming into a saxophone. The musical staff has an original jazzy leitmotif in swing time with a syncopated treble and restless bass line. The keyboard and staff are both bent into fluid sinusoidal waveforms and there's a further layer of sonic beats.
