Are you a big gardener? A lover of flowers? I don't have much of a green thumb, but my mother is wild about flowers and gardening. Sunflowers were always one of her favorite flowers to grow, and I have a lot of fond memories growing up of sitting on the porch with my parents watching the many sparrows, goldfinches, and other local birds fluttering around the mini sunflower garden in our back yard trying to get at the sunflower seeds. The flowers always seem so cheerful and happy to me, and I hope that whatever you talented seamstresses decide to sew with this pattern brings as much happiness and joy to what you make as the memory of sunflowers brings to me :)
