design is like a border print - details below)
This cut paper design was designed for an exhibition honoring the Baldishol Tapestry, the oldest Norwegian tapestry in existence. Twenty-five artists were invited to create pieces inspired by the piece and the exhibition will be on display at Norway House in Minneapolis from July-October 2020 both virtually and socially distant in-person. You can read more about my piece at my website: https://www.beckarahn.com/portfolio-items/work-in-progress-responding-to-the-baldishol/ NOTE: This design is set up like a border print, with the direction of the print perpendicular to the selvedge edges. This is why it is shown side-ways in the preview.
