I did this drawing of the brown pelican for my daughter to color in. I grew up going on family vacations to St. Augustine, Florida, and we would sit and watch the pelicans for hours. I didn't learn until much later that the Brown Pelican was seriously endangered in the 1970s. I am so glad that these birds are still around now for me to share with my kids.
