I never really realized how threatened this little bird was until I started reading about them. Not only are the endangered in the state of Indiana, but they are a species of concern in my hometown, near the Great Smoky Mountains National park. One account speaks about the entire Texas population of this bird being wiped out, after 105 acre plot of land was developed. :(
In real life these birds aren't blue of course, but a light, woody brown. Contact me for special sizing and color requests :), and let's spread the word to protect these little guys!
