The design actually began as a painting, and is a product of various digital manipulations. (Sorry! I have forgotten which painting it was!)
The larger sizes are great for upholstery, tablecloths, and other interior decorating applications. The smaller sizes provide wonderful surface interest for clothing and quilts. Imagine this design as the skirt on a dress, and then pick a color from the design to use for the bodice. Then pair it up with a blazer of the polka dots as well. Or use it for a blouse, and use a solid color from the design for the collar.
