For the first Spoonflower contest of 2014 (floral cheater quilt with a restricted palette) I experimented with changing the colors of some designs that fell into the quilt block structure, to see if I would like to enter them in that contest. This is one of the recolor exercises. I liked it a whole lot, which is why I am making it available for sale, but ultimately did not choose this as my entry. It is a still a delicate and Asian looking grid of flowers, shining suns, and badminton shuttlecocks. Why are there badminton shuttlecocks in it? I guess that is the game these folks are playing on the bright and airy spring day. I can even find cross hatched net for them to play around. But mostly I see fan shapes in corners of charm square/quilt blocks. (frame 2681269)
