the London Eye makeup revolution,
Glam Rockers, an iconic pose of the disco subculture and crocks inside pots, what can these things possibly have in common? THE 70s is what!
Some designs are best when de-cluttered, the less is more principle but this memorable, chaotic decade shouted MORE is better! Spoonflower calls this challenge Jewel Tone 70s but I remember the decade trending to earth tones for home decor when kitchen appliances were harvest gold and avocado green not ruby or sapphire. I was a young wife and mother in the 70s and I adored my slow cooking pot called crock and the cassettes my magical video recorder produced, wore extremely tall platform shoes and very wide bell bottoms. I even painted on those lower lashes just like that skinny as a twig British model, but only learned of that whole toss your keys in the basket wife swapping routine years later. This novelty fabric design is my wacky homage to trends, fads and styles, both ridiculed and embraced from that era.
**NOTICE: As of 2024 links to my collections and designs may be broken due to Spoonflower’s policy changes. A link may still work but might take you to an empty collection because the website will be
de-listing designs to offer fewer, making your shopping experience easier. Good news if your taste is commercially mainstream, run of the mill, but bad news if you tend to enjoy the less popular,
more quirky original art or looking for designs that suit your personal niche interests.
After all, vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor, right?
Please remember all my Spoonflower designs are ART not A.I., and as such are always
