In one full yard you get enough pieces to build one complete, lined purse. You can swap the inner the outer pieces if you prefer. Embellish the shoulder strap base with buttons or ribbons if you like. You can add a magnetic closure or attach a button and loop to hold the flap closed Lined purse with 2 - count 'em - 2 pockets. Put both on the inside OR put center one on the inside back and one on the outside back for a REVERSIBLE purse! A two-color strap makes it even more fun. Use fusible stabilizer between the fabric to give it body or a thin layer of batting (and machine quilt it). Add a magnetic catch concealed in the liner or insert a loop in the middle of the flap edge and sew buttons on both sides of the front to create a latch for a reversible purse. Stitch a few rows length-wise on the strap to give it more body.
