background. I drew this picture using Crayola crayons.
This is an original hand-drawn blue crab with a rope border on a light blue gray sandy shell background. I drew this picture using only Crayola crayons on three separate pieces of paper in order to make it easier to scan in. Then I carefully pieced it back together using Adobe Photoshop. To make it easier to define the 18" square edge, I did add a very thin cutting line. I allowed up to an inch for hemming. The design also allows you to use less hem. The napkin's finished measurement after hemming is approximately 16-17 inches depending upon your hemming method. (Note: This is a napkin panel to be printed on a fat quarter, not for a repeating pattern in running yardage. In proofing this fabric, six napkins will fit using the basic repeat on the linen-cotton canvas. This is my recommendation for my napkin.) I did not do any digital enhancements or adjustments to my artwork. This artwork is entirely original. COPYRIGHT © 2011 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
