intriguing patchworks
This velvety collection is draped in midnight mystique, a twilit fusion of plum, violet and mauve hues. The designs are cut together sharply in chunks and squares, yet the flowing patterns overpower this so that they fit perfectly together into a patchwork reverie. Wavering lines appear almost like stiches, holding the very designs together and enhancing this patchwork feel.
Some of the designs are infused with a metallic sheen, with silver and bronze tinges that glisten like molten metal or shimmering oil. There’s something slightly musical about this collection, as waves undulate like sound vibrations through the designs, their lingering hums ricocheting into kaleidoscopic tunes.
