These designs are derived from vintage carved wooden fabric stamps from Japan, (probably carved in India). The stamps have white fabric ink on them. Because they are derived from hand-carved stamps, they have an organic, asymmetric, hand-made look. This is an indigo and white fabric, like classic Japanese fabrics. Try it on the linen-cotton fabric for a yukata or an oriental-style jacket, cushions or curtains. Other colors in this collection include a dark bluegreen textured background, and a medium bluegreen texture, with white. There are several different layouts. Reverse colors are available. At the moment this version has Larger scale trees, to contrast with the others. A smaller scale array of the white trees, similar in size to the original stamp, also looks good. Let me know if you want it changed. Reverse color, textured indigo blue on white.
