Hat" collection, and includes the Royal Air Force roundel -a symbol used by the "Mod" subculture of the 1950s-60s.
Beach Hat: Mod Waves #2 was designed with a wallpaper-proportioned repeat in mind - 12 inches by 12 inches should give exactly 2 repeats across and should give 12 repeats down a 144 inch roll, making the size of the wallpaper version the same size as it will be in the fabric version...... I'd better add that what appears to be a 4th color - the tiny turquoise dots - is actually the same color as the "other" blue. It only looks like a different shade here because the tiny dots are on white and there's an optical illusion....... You may wonder why in the heck this design is called "Beach Hat". Well, I created a different design a while back and when I was looking for a name for it, I decided it looked like an aerial view of a beach hat. Then I made a bunch of coordinating designs (and this one coordinates with those) that were way better than the original, and they didn't look like beach hats at all. But, silly me, I kept the category name of "Beach Hat" anyway. And there you are.
