Pacific Northwest or Canada, it could be Sasquatch!
I was lucky to have participated on a trail work service trip in the Quinalt section of the rainforest near Olympic National Park many years back. It was a long backpack to our base camp deep in the Emerald Cathedral of trees. So. Many. Trees. And so many shades of green! (And so many biting flies, but that's another fabric design!) Hiking in the dense forest -- and sleeping at night in the tent -- it was easy to understand how the Sasquatch legends persist. It really did feel like someone was out there watching us! I have read several firsthand accounts of settlers that truly believe they have seen the creature. For this playful pattern, I tried to take the shades of green and the endless trees and brighten it with some happy pink, so that the curious eyes and footprints of my elusive Big Foot character would delight, not fright! This print would make for fun children's clothing, accent pillow, table cloth or sheets/blanket. Perhaps someone could sew a nifty bandana just for Sasquatch herself!
