When I was child in New Jersey (ages 8-13) I would sometimes find giant seed pods at the edge of a road. They were round, varying between the size of baseballs and softballs, and full of green kernels, like an ear of corn. Their name was Osage Orange, and they had nothing to do with citrus fruit. They weren't poisonous. But they were creepy. And they were big and heavy. If one fell on you, instead of onto the side of the road, it would hurt! In homage to those seed pods of my youth, I have made their kernels into the background texture of this India-inspired large scale flower and paisley composition. I don't know if they have that tree in India, or not, but the meandering leaves, and tendrils, and vines here, should be as creepy as the seed baseballs. (file E122f2, #2682306)
