This photo was taken on 8-30-2019 of my friends tomato garden which he uses hydroponics to grow his tomatoes. He's been growing his tomatoes this way since 2018 though in that year he used a pond behind our property to grow tomatoes. It required too much nutrients from the pond that it was affecting the pond so the next year, 2019, he switched to buckets with nutrients added to the water. These tomatoes turn out so delicious and produced beyond his expectations! The plants themselves grew to over 8' and I believe he stated they produced over 500 lbs of tomatoes! This image is just a snippet of the original photos. Last year he took a cutting from one of his tomato plants at the end of the season to grow indoors for the winter so that he would have tomatoes to put outside for this year and they are already producing and they aren't even out side yet and it is already over 10' tall indoors! He took smaller cuttings from this main plant and put into the water to start rooting and getting ready for the warm weather out side!
