Besides costumes for the Sixth Doctor, this can also be a nice pattern for tablecloths, napkins, and similar items. When making a Sixth Doctor costume, keep in mind that the shirt also used this pattern for the placard (the trim down the buttonholes) and around the underside of the collar, so for greatest accuracy you'll need a yard or two of this fabric. However, if you're more casual about your costume and cuffs is all you want, a "fat quarter" (or maybe even just a swatch) should be sufficient.
