“best of wives and best of women.”
In order to create this design, I found photographs of the actual letters that Alexander Hamilton wrote to Eliza. I traced them by hand, to make the inking crisper and more consistent, but kept it as authentic as possible. (By the end of the process, after tracing five or six letters of his, I could actually mimic his handwriting to a degree!) I added three different custom parchment backgrounds to the assortment of letters that I had, and then digitally "tore" them into pieces, which are scattered across each other.
I hope that you enjoy this design - it's scaled just right for masks and other crafty projects. Thank you for visiting my shop today!
