Art nouveau flowers grow next to a wrought iron fence in this view of an entirely hand drawn and hand painted gracefully scalloped and dark garden . You are actually looking at a negative of the original art, which was done with a combination of Flair felt tip pens (the white outlines in this view), alcohol brush markers, and lastly detailed with gel pen (the background dots). While the dots are part of my aesthetic style (you see them, or other textures in the backgrounds of almost all my designs) they actually came about because of the brush strokes in the paint markers did not please me aesthetically when converted to a mirror repeat. Breaking up the areas camouflages the mottled nature of the painted on brush strokes, while adding a texture to play with your eyes. (file QQ130d, #6065288)
