This collection Hannah LaChance, is a nod to my Great Grandmother. Hannah was born in Michigan in 1874. Hannah was of French descent. When Hannah was only 16 she married Charles Gonyaw (Gagnon) also of French descent. Together they had 13 daughters, my Grandmother Marie being one of them. When I started designing this collection I was also searching for information on her. I can only imagine that being a wife of a ship carpenter and 13 children she might have really have enjoyed having a bedroom filled with this collection.
