Hand painted, named varieties of ladybird. There are over 5000 species of ladybird, and more are being found all the time. I think they're lovely, and I get quite a few varieties in my own garden. My grandchildren love them too.
They're not all red and black, they don't all have spots, some are plain, some are metallic, some have stripes! They can have 2 spots, 7 spots, 10 spots, 12 spots, 13 spots, 22, or even 24 spots!
These are just 16 different ladybirds, not 16 different species though, since even within species they're not all the same, that I mostly picked from my Pinterest Ladybird, Ladybird (http://www.pinterest.com/wiccked/ladybird-ladybird/) board.
