This Supermarine Spitfire fabric uses colors spec'd from the original British Standards list for Dark Earth (plane), Dark Green (background), and Sky (outline). These colours were called out in the manufacturing details for the Spitfire, and were used in much of World War II (though not necessarily arrayed in this pattern.)
