Get out your tight fitting sweater and your bobby sox and return to the days when American iron was king of the road and the war was something still far away in Europe. Pictured here is a pale olive 1940 (and 1941) Studebaker sedan with optional fog lights. It was basically one of the last cars produced before the war came to America and put a hold on all consumer car production. Throughout the war years, and even into the 1950's these sedans kept running (at least when they could get tires and gasoline).
