The Oda Kamon is a flower with a circle around it. It is the family crest of the Oda family in Japan. The kamon or mondokoro were family crest or coats of arms that were used to identify families during the Sumurai eras centuries ago. Today, they are decorative. They make beautiful designs for fabric. I chose a deep blue similar to the indigo blue used in many Japanese prints and Shibori fabrics.
