This used to be a cottage product and made at homes by woman in villages of India . I as a designer learnt this art professionally in a college in 1984 and ran a loom on my own . Gradually I started making my own designs on paper and then go them made on looms by providing yarn to weavers . I exported to Japan and other countries . Now I am digitizing these woven products to make them into digital prints . These can be used for various home decor and apparel items .
