To see the goldfish and the water and the bowl they are in you have to use a lot of imagination when looking at this muted tone and Victorian themed abstract. The vertical rows of circles are the fish bowl as seen from above. The dotted pink and blue things are fish scales. And the gracefully flaring pale green trumpet shapes to the right and left of every circle are evocative of waves. On my monitor they look bright aqua, but in print they are not. They are a very soft green. If you can't see any fishes or bowls in here, don't worry about it. This is an abstract. You have to make up seeing things in it because it is all just geometric shapes. These shapes combine late Victorian and art nouveau elements in a pre-faded palette with brick (the color of a goldfish), pink, and two greens as the colors you see most. (frame 947618)
