I know "Jewish American Princess" is usually used as a put-down meaning someone who is sheltered, superficial, and spoiled. But this is a regally royal design, fit for a blue-blooded type princess, with twisted vines and sprouted chrysanthemums, done in pastel shades of mint, lime, and olive green. What makes it Jewish are all the six pointed stars woven within it. What makes it American is me. I drew it in California USA. And what makes me love it enough to release it on this first night of Hanukkah 2013, are all the delicate and ombre toned pseudo batik background stripes, twisting vines and tendrils, and paisley buds and leaves. This abstract damask style splotch and space around the splotch, style design owes its spiritual roots to the art styles of a century ago. Anybody want to join me in a time machine back to 1914?
