Bandhani (or Bandhej) is one traditional print of Rajasthan, India (though it is also found in places such as Kuch, Gujurat, Sindh, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu). It is a type of tie-dye textile that gets its distinct look from plucking the cloth with fingernails into numerous tiny bindings, which in turn form a design. "Bandhani", as a word, comes from the Sanskrit verb, "Bandh" which means, "to bind or to tie". This is an ancient design motif - it goes back to the Indus Valley Civilization (estimates guess this type of dying was first done around 4,000 BCE) but it looks SO good in modern usage.
