Pity poor Harry! He's not a native to the USA anyway but he made it "across the pond" and became a loved member of a family of humans. Then one night a terrible thunderstorm billowed up, one that had many cloud to ground lightning strikes. The next day appeared a headline in the local newspaper: "Hedgehog Rescued After Lightning Hits Home." (The "hedgehog rescued" part is true. It happened in Schenectady, NY and was a story on WGRB. And there was no newspaper headline, but a caged hedgehog was mentioned as being one of the pets who survived, in addition to the humans. Not so sure about the house!)
