I scanned this from a July 19, 1930 farm magazine in order to make a pot holder out of my 8 inch proof, for my mother (who was born as 1929 ended). Once a month, this weekly farm magazine ran a fashion column, featuring these illustrations of patterns that rurally isolated wives could sew for themselves and their children.
