this greenhouse garden.
Gestural watercolor combined with delicate ink details gives a sense of elegance and looseness to this greenhouse garden. I love watercolor, but I've been on a digital kick lately. This greenhouse design challenge hosted by Spoonflower was a perfect excuse to return to my watercolor approach, with the added fun of pen and ink, which I hadn't played with in a while. The slight tinted background combined with the watercolor and pen with a slight offset is meant to mimic a more classic feel to go with the victorian theme of the greenhouse challenge. I'm a freelance illustrator and open for commissions.
