red buttes of his home continent of Australia.
January Desert Design Challenge Submission The resilient animals who’ve adapted to thrive in the harsh desert heat have earned their own name: xerocole. Attaining food, water, and even regulating their own body temperature is a constant challenge for birds, reptiles, camels, scorpions, etc., but they sure look majestic while doing it. My Concept: The ridges and valleys of the majestic bearded dragon are mesmerising and I just could not stop staring once I saw one of these guys. The lines and circles on his face also represent the tiniest grains of sand up to the grand hills and red windswept buttes that cover Australia, his home and a place I'd love to visit! This can always be adjusted in scale if you like-just let me know with a message!
