Clipper model was one of their most controversial.
The 1956 Packard Clipper was a two tone and chrome laden last gasp for the venerable luxury car company. They survived the great depression, but they would not survive the booming 1950's car market. They would merge with Studebaker that year, and be gone before the end of the decade. The 1956 Packard was the last model year before the merger. (file w104L2-ch, #5369229)
